Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customised using an app that can save the maps of your home setting cleaning schedules, and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and how much water the mop is using.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate through rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires or other toys. These are essential features for my house, stuffed with toys scattered around.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the flagship vacuum of the company and mop, is loaded with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to identify pet toys plants, small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its location, preventing it from getting stuck on a surface.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system, which lifts the pad as it moves from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid soaking these types of soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. automatic vacuum cleaner can set it to forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is at the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only downside is that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a very tempting alternative for anyone who wishes to get rid of their old stick vacuum and mops. We highly recommend this model when you can justify its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos on the market. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of the debris on all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.
The docking station is the primary selling aspect of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and sophisticated. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry the mop pads for you. It also features a real-time hazard detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. The mops on the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. The mop pads that are sold separately also require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If you're on a tighter budget, I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still enjoying hands-free cleaning at your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could buy but its cost and constant maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power and a huge battery that can be used for both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-cleaning to clean the mop's pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it is supplied with a continuous supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is removed using the side brushes, or swept away into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a good amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.
Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to come out of the box. It must be filled with clean water, but this is a simple task by cleaning the dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. However, if you do select this option you'll have to purchase the branded cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own choice of cleaners.
As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It sat on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers many functions at a a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.
The application that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that is mapped by the device or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It utilizes the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just like all the Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system is reliable that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a systematic way. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does an excellent job of covering a space, with no major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well too, but it is not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like thick carpets but may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.
The one glaring flaw of this model is the absence of a mop after vacuum option that could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can make use of the mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and traces that remained after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps the robot get rid of a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
